Creative AI Evangelist
Build the storylines, pipelines and agents that tell DCL's story, from research to script to final render. Step in front of the camera when a human face tells it better.
About the role
DCL builds systems that have to hold up under scrutiny, and the story of that work deserves the same craft. This role treats content as a system. You design the storyline, choose the right AI tools to make it, and automate the making with agents, so that one person with judgement can produce what used to take a studio. You are not a copywriter with a chatbot, and you are not an editor with a render farm. You are the person who decides what the lab sounds like everywhere its story runs, and who builds the machinery that keeps it sounding that way at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build agentic content pipelines that research, draft and assemble first cuts of written, audio and video work, with your judgement at every gate that matters.
- Direct AI-generated voice and video so it carries real pacing and presence. If it reads as robotic, it does not ship.
- Keep one identity across everything generated, whatever model or tool produced it: copy, image, audio and video.
- Wire creative output to what it earns. Set up agents that test hooks, thumbnails and copy against engagement, then feed what works back into the pipeline and the sales conversation.
- Step on camera when a human face serves the story better than a synthetic one.
Requirements
If you meet most of these and the rest looks learnable, apply. We would rather read your application than have you rule yourself out.
- You have shipped multi-agent or heavily automated content workflows. Show us the pipeline and what it produced, not the diagram.
- You write and direct well enough to make generated media feel authored. Bring the piece you are proudest of, along with the prompts and edits behind it.
- You choose tools on judgement, not fashion. You can say why a model or product earned its place in your pipeline and what you dropped.
- You can tie a channel's growth to decisions you made, with the numbers that show it.
Nice to have
- Comfort presenting on camera, and the instinct for when a human face beats a synthetic one.
- Hands-on video editing craft. The manual skill teaches you what to automate.
- Arabic alongside English. The lab is in Amman and the story travels both ways.
How you would work here
01
Craft is the point
Work is judged on whether it holds up, not on how it was presented in a status meeting. If you do careful work it will be visible here in a way it never is at scale.
02
Real ownership
You own a product surface rather than a slice of a backlog. That means the decisions are yours to make, and the consequences are yours to sit with.
03
New technology, clear guardrails
There is genuine freedom to try things, set inside limits drawn by people who have taken systems into production before. Experiment, but know where the edges are.
04
Hybrid in Amman
Three days in the office and two from home. The office days are for the work that goes better with everyone in a room, which is most of the hard parts.
How we hire
Five steps, about two weeks end to end. The work assessment is a real day of work and it is paid.
CV review
We read it properly. You hear back either way.
Call with Essa
Forty-five minutes with the founder. Your work, our work, and whether the fit is real.
Paid work assessment
One day on a realistic problem, paid at a fair rate. The closest either of us gets to trying the job.
Team session
Time with the people you would work beside, so the decision runs in both directions.
Offer
Made quickly once we are sure. About two weeks from first contact to here.
About Digital Composition Lab
DCL is a founder-led R&D software product development lab. We take on problems where software has to be trusted rather than merely shipped, and we build the products ourselves: Agentic Data Compliance for UK GDPR alignment, and Korva for financial crime prevention.
The lab is small and deliberately full-stack in the widest sense: research, product, design and engineering in one team. More about who we are.
